Biography

Jordan Auber is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and DJ based in Brooklyn, NY. A graduate of The Collective School of Music in New York City, Jordan honed his craft across a diverse array of musical genres, focusing on contemporary jazz, and Afro-Latin percussion under the tutelage of Ian Froman, Peter Retzlaff, Vince Cherico, Marko Djordjevic, Chris Coleman, and Jason Gianni. His broad musical foundation enables him to seamlessly blend diverse styles, making adaptability and creativity central to his artistry.

Over the past decade in New York City, Jordan has cultivated a dynamic career, performing with an array of distinguished groups and playing at iconic venues across the city’s boroughs, from Lincoln Center to Brooklyn Bowl, and many more in between. His work as a drummer has garnered widespread recognition for its depth and versatility.

In addition to his performance career, Jordan produces his own music and DJs under the moniker, LEONG, a name that pays tribute to his Chinese-American heritage through his mother's family name. Through his work as both a DJ and live percussionist, Jordan has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Diplo, Black Coffee, AMÉME, Nickodemus, Carlita, and Pahua, among others.

As an artist, Jordan continues to explore new creative possibilities, blending live performance with electronic production to create unique and captivating musical experiences.
